8" front and back. each grid square represents 1", to give you an idea of scale.

the program doesn't display a rear derailleur but it's assumed there would be one. this design actually doesn't have a whole lot of chain growth compared to some other designs.

haha, do you know you're looking at the picture of the bike bottomed out?

http://www.pinkbike.com/photo/3732856/

the red line represents the rear axle path.

well that's going to change a lot depending on your leverage ratios, and i would recommend getting your shock linkage just right (travel, leverage ratios perfected etc) and then design the frame around that. it'll save you a lot of time and effort.

...

do you have any experience or evidence to back that up besides a couple 14 year olds on this site telling you their friend's friend cracked his frame when he nose cased a gap?

all you're doing is adding to the idiocy.

lesse, layers:

1. rider
2. cityscape
3. mountains
4. text
5. clouds
6. sun/moon

am I close?

very nicely done though, it's put together very well (with lots of wonderful splatter brushes, don't we all love them)

I'm pretty sure that I'll be making a trip down to bend again this summer, you'll have to show me where this is, it looks like a lot of fun.
